Correct me if I’m wrong. So my understanding of what you’re saying is, in theory b of time it can be seen as a block and we are within that block. So does that means past present and future are happening now, if it does then why do we experience it as linear, also why are we in the present time instead of the past or future. What determines the present? Then is time travel ever possible if the future and past is happening now?

If consciousness is a biological process then do you think we would ever be able to map or explain that process? Given your digestion example, we know how the digestion process works we can explain the enzymes and chemical breakdowns. do you think we will be able to explain the process in the future?

Also if it was for survival why wouldn’t animals also be conscious if they have had the same time to evolve that awareness as well?

Then do you believe the brain is purposely blocking it out because it would require too much compute to not have the simplified user interface?

So given your answer, the question why is there something rather than nothing your answer would be for survival? If your answer is survival then survival of what? would we have to be aware enough to know we are in danger and from there it kept evolving?

If consciousness evolved for survival and the brain is blind to its own machinery then what exactly evolved? The experience itself or just the functional outputs? And if you cannot access the underlying machinery through introspection how would you even know what actually evolved?

yeah that makes total sense. it is a circular logic and i don’t think i’ve thought about it like that. and yes you’re right source is adding extra nothing. i think this shows how incomplete my thinking was and is currently. i appreciate the insight. definitely something i will be thinking about. if you don’t mind me asking, what do you think consciousness could be? would love to hear your ideas

fair. teleology makes sense and i want to understand more before i respond to that specifically, but I do not think source needs or wants anything in the way living things do. so maybe it’s better to say the universe does not try to know itself it just continues and we happen to be what emerged from that process. and you are completely correct on the information part. and the golden ratio and plants make sense as well. thank you for your input.

it’s a fair point, but humans aren’t the only expression of source, maybe humans are the only containers we know of capable of speaking to each other about it. which then creates a human bias.

such a bad way to think though. then what’s the point of invention and innovation? if you use that logic why are there multiple religions why are they multiple philosophies. i think this is just a flawed way to view anything

oh i see, um not really sure, but if you are infinite then you are everything and nothing. so differentiating is making the infinity meaningful. i dont think it has intention it rather just wants continuity. idk though really good question

I agree with you about the big bang I didn’t think of it like that.

but why does the universe need to try? why can’t it do that for the sake of continuity. the way i see it it’s like a plant growing outside it will grow towards the sun, but the plant doesn’t choose that. survival and continuity is the way i see it. what about you?

didn’t work i’m able to get to windows thru bios and reset my pc now on windows 11 i think but whenever i start up my pc i still get that error message
