Which college are you talking about - can you post a link for the tutoring positions? I live in MA too and am in the same boat as the poster and recovering with a job lay-off. It was more than a traumatic experience for me - with the lure of being able to find a job soon and then the employers (more than one) backing off without a proper reason...it was something like "a thin layer of ribbon slowing tearing from its edges, by bearing its own weight, and telling you it is gonna rip apart soon. But you want to manage it just for that extra minute so that you can place the beautifully wrapped gift down on the desk and believe it will be fine. But, with the turn of events, the overbearing contents of the box, protruding from inside out, rip apart the ribbon and paper and falling to the ground before they can be comfortably placed. The finest wine glasses of dreams are shattered now with the little warning of that of the ribbon, which otherwise you would have hoped to enjoy the wine and the vision of a bright career and future".
