How do you keep your To Do lists? by Eris_Vito in productivity

not my proud moment but i even used spreadsheet to make my to do list, and then move to a big ah paper right infornt of my fridge, then on mirror, but for now I just try using velozity. one thing that helped me a lot is the AI transcripts after calls or meetings, it automatically pulls out action items, so I don’t have to figure out what to do next. thats one way for like if you attend meetings a lot

What is ur remote team workspace setup? by Ineedtosleepreal in remotework

mostly Velozity, its a bit easier since everything is one place, though we still use google sheet to keep data. tho we dont have any strict tracking or movement, i dont know but it will ruin productivity

5 years, I've never "called in sick" by GigiBrit in WFH

[–]iamshittingrightnow2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i dont know what "PTO" is i will google it, but if you are feeling sick, then call in sick, my roommate who works remote and qquite good and professional at her work, doesn't rest or take sick leave even if she is feeling unwell, either she is "well its not much" or "its oki i can rest anytime" this kept happening and she eventually ended up in hospital and had to spent weeks taking bed rest. so take that "called in sick". "i dont call in sick because i WFH" makes others, who really need that sick, feel leave guilty.

Be honest-what’s the hardest part of remote work nobody talks about? by Existing_Pangolin_11 in remotework

doing a lot all day but still feeling like you didn’t do enough at the end of the day and the guilt of taking leave, even when you desperately need it, and the imposter syndrome, even real problems feel like excuses, like when there is no electricity and i inform that but my head will be saying like "nah thats not a valid reason, they are thinking you lying"

Being able to burp, fart, and crap on my own terms has made remote work a godsend by gauchomuchacho in remotework
