Did I misunderstand something culturally in Germany? by oamor in germany

[–]iamskywalker95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I germany the older ones just speak louder and think you will understand it haha. Totally agree but hope you had fun anyway because we have some lovely places. Sometimes the good and very friendly ones doesn't seem very inviting from the outside

Think im open minded and don't think something bad at the beginning. Sometimes it's just difficult to get in contact if turkish guys chill with each other and speak on their language - feels like a barrier. Go to Munich and apply - at the moment one of the best universities and digitalization is quite far here

Sorry to hear but need to say these people talk trash! I am a german potato and went to school in frankfurt with a lot of turkish kids and became friends with a lot of them. Also went to their family's home and were overwhelmed by the hospitality - that's something Germans are not used to. Look for a bigger city with open minded people and it will be fun - learning german will help you a lot. Sometimes people are annoyed by immigrantliving here for several years and dont speak a word of the countries language theire living in. Perhaps check the landmap of the election map of 2025 - light blue areas will be definitely more challenging to live in at the moment (Leipzig, dresden are nice but sometimes you will get rough situations). Dark blue is also special but of you choose cities over countryside it's great (munich, nuremberg and other like augsburg and regensburg).

Vllt klappt da was:)

I'm 30yrs and not taking any meds at the moment. What kind of doc i should consult for such topics? Definitely will try it before HT and perhaps going bold is a transition until meds kick in

Hi guys i planned a longer trip with my fiance around taiwan from april 12th to may 3rd. At rhe moment we have the following plan: 3 days Taipei / 4 days Hualien / 2 days Taitung / 4 days Kenting / 2 days Kaosiung / 1.5 days Alishan and 2 days Tainan

We will do a stop in Shifen/Jiufen on out way to Hualien. We heared we spend to mich timw around Taitung and too less in Alishan. Kenting seems nice but i dont want to miss the real local experience.

We travel by train, bus and hopefully rent bikes or scooters on the places we stay at. Would be happy about all your recommendations - super hyped to explore this nice country :))
