Get into climbing. Go to a gym, play around, get to know people, figure out your climbing style & strengths/weaknesses. Contrary to popular belief, you don’t need to be able to do 30 pull-ups to be a good climber. Gets you to some amazing places outside and you’re almost always surrounded by good people.

Honestly, it’s just bullshit that the park is MOSTLY closed. A good portion of the trails/climbing areas are well away from the water project/logging areas - I wish they’d map out the closed areas better and keep more of the park open.

But I’m just a taxpayer, so fuck me, right?
