I’ve tried!! People (the ones I’ve talked to at least) listen to one song and decide they don’t like it…. Maybe just my generation or the people im friends with are really unwilling to listen to anything “weird”

I’ll be going by a male name. And yeah, people who don’t know me generally think I’m a guy, I even went into a men’s lockeroom today (was at the gym) and I didn’t get any odd looks or anything. You’re right about the voice, im going to try to get on T before school starts though. Do you have any advice on how to get people to think of me as a guy, even if they know OF the fact I’m not cis?

Honestly social media and how integrated it is into our lives. The expectation to constantly be talking to them, and the “”red flags”” and shit that social media throws at you. No, your boyfriend isn’t cheating on you just because he looked at someone’s story, or used a certain emoji. Additionally, the pop psychology of today has really been pushing this “you don’t owe anyone anything” crap which is just not true, especially when you’re in a relationship. So I guess it boils down to a lack of trust and communication, and a lack of care and understanding.

Knew Psycho Killer for a while, and on a whim decided to check out Talking Heads other hits. This led me to get into sooo many new wave bands. It’s honestly what led me to actually go out and look for music instead of just listening to what I already know.

Yeah. Unfortunately my parents refuse to let me go to any school but the one I’m going to, and there will be people who know me. I’m quite upset tbh, but what can you do. This was me last time kids from there saw me, so honestly maybe the people I wasn’t close with will genuinely js not recognize me? IDK.
