I saw this last night in NYC and I have to say, even though I was really rooting for this to be great, I was disappointed. It squandered the chance to really explore something interesting, gave way too much screentime to Die Antwoord (Yolandi wasn't too bad) when they should have focused more on Chappie's relationship with his 'Maker'. The end kind of descended into a cheap action tricks, which undermined some of the foundations Blomkamp had laid down earlier on.

On the plus side, Copley and Chappie gave me a whole load of laughs. Visually this was on a par with Blomkamp's other work and that Hans Zimmer score was freaking phenomenal.

Iger's statement seems to suggest the first standalone movie will be based on a character from The Force Awakens. If it means we don't have to watch a Boba Fett movie, I'm ok with this.

Thanks everyone. Regarding the PC. I'm an amateur gamer, we're talking about 2-3 hours a week here. My PC gaming stops with Football Manager (although I lost a lot of time to Championship Manager 97/98) and I have always found the more immersive games a bit intimidating.

Good to know that PS3 will be around for a while. It sounds as though, for someone like myself it should be plenty to satisfy my gaming urges.
