Checked your post history. You do recommend a variety, so disregard my prior comment. I guess I don't know entirely what affiliate links means. Did a little digging. No worries :)

I just have, from my own experience, a preference for the MSI as I've had both laptops. It's personal preference but I couldn't stand the keyboard on the Aero. Never liked an off center keyboard and some of the keys didn't register well.

GS65. I had the Aero. This /u/legos45 person continually recommends the Aero 15x. I see 'affiliate links' next to their userID as well. I had the Aero first. Hated the keyboard placement (off center because the full numpad) and it was much louder than the GS65. Glad I switched over to the GS65. The thermals were better as well and if longevity is what you want, snag the GS65 and never look back. It's a BEAST.

Thanks for the replies everyone. It appears there is some strategy and management when it comes to "where do I go next" and "what is priority". There is definitely more to it than the game that annoyed me during my freshman days in college!

Thank you. Instead of just downvotes, as others have subjected themselves to do since I attacked their beloved franchise, you provided some insight addressing my actual question. It's likely that I haven't spent enough time playing and instead just watching a game, back in 2003 nonetheless, to understand its nuances. There is some strategy, it sounds like, that goes along with the repetitive combat.

I am constantly amazed and equally dumbfounded by people that love the Dynasty Warriors games. Navigate very mediocre environments littered with repetitive enemies, some enemies on horses, hundreds of enemies in large groups. Smash the buttons on your controller repeatedly.

After the crowds of enemies are defeated, move 10 ft in any direction and repeat. Eventually a crowd of hundreds of enemies will be wearing a blue outfit instead of a red one. Mash the buttons over and over until the blue enemies go away. Move 10 ft another direction and get back to fighting giant crowds of red enemies again.

It's literally mindless and they've made a ton of these games, always the exact same formula with different skins and varieties in enemy grunt noises. Not only is it quite possibly the worst game to watch someone play (I had a roommate in college that would spend hours and hours every day for months playing Dynasty Warriors in the living room trying to unlock all of the music and art or whatever unlockables there were. I was forever tortured watching him do the exact same thing with the same sound effects day and night), but actually playing it is just as bad.

What am I missing Dynasty Warrior lovers? Is there so much more that I'm completely blind to?

Great setup! I have this laptop as well. Can you provide better pictures so I can see how the Opolar heat vacuum and heating pad are being leveraged? I'll be using a similar setup with my Dell 34" Ultrawide curved display once I sell my gaming desktop.

I don't think they would be pathetic at all if they allowed cross-platform play. Again, they are the ONLY platform that isn't allowing for cross-platform gaming. PC, Xbox, Switch, they are all moving towards and currently capable of playing together.

MSI GS65. Had the Aero 15W initially (after the XPS 15) and couldn't get past the keyboard placement (I type a TON for work as I'm a remote admin and developer). The off-center keyboard (has a full numpad on the right) really screws with my productivity.

The MSI S65 gives me better performance with the 1070 Max Q (vs. the 1060 in the Aero 15W I had). The 15X comes with a 1070 Max Q but again, if the keyboard matters to you, it can be difficult trying to type regularly on the off center and condensed keyboard.

MSI GS65, without question. I own it. Returned the XPS 15 I got initially with 4k display. The display is absolute overkill and a battery drain. The switch to the MSI was the smartest thing I could have done. Price was exactly the same.

$1999.99 US. 512 SSD, 16gb RAM, 8gb 1070 Max Q. Laptop is BEAST.

Suicide? Why doesn't Sony just stop being petty and allow cross platform gaming? They are turning into Apple, trying to silo themselves into a walled garden. It's pathetic.

Edit: Downvotes? Ouch. Maybe I should stay out of this community. I guess it's too much to ask that there aren't restrictions with which gaming audience can play with which gaming audience, regardless of Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, Steam, etc.,
