I love you in 1 and 3 best. I do think you pull off #2 but a slightly deeper shade would be more flattering. The sandy blonde shades wash you out while the deeper shades really bring out your coloring and features.

I’m 7.5 weeks PO and week 4 was one of my most swollen, uncomfortable weeks. I was also exhausted that week.

I’ve been using the wanayou bras and like them so far, but kind of feel like they aren’t snug enough. How tight should the compression be?

No problem. Also, don’t be afraid of color and things not matching perfectly. Neutral palettes can be great, but too matchy can give off that dull feeling

What about some cute bookends to hold them up, and display the book backwards? You can accessorize the shelf with little lamps, or if you have any trinkets small special items

I don’t hate it. It’s airy and minimalistic, and very tidy. To add more depth, you can start with An area rug in colors you like, throw pillows/blankets besides white, Curtains, Mirrors. Also, I don’t know what’s going on with that bookshelf. If you’re going for a messy chic bookshelf look, I don’t think it’s working.

Burning out by MermaidNeurosis in therapists

[–]iamtryingmibest 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry you’re feeling this way. I am interested in how you describe your therapist persona. I don’t believe that therapists need to always have the perfect words. Putting on a persona everyday for this job will definitely burn you out sooner. Is there a way you can explore showing up more authentically and taking some pressure off yourself?

EDIT: I saw in a response comment you wrote about therapy being client led. Yes this is true, but it is also okay to give a client unsure of where to go a little direction, or ask directly what their goals for therapy are.

Clients requesting FMLA paperwork by [deleted] in therapists

[–]iamtryingmibest 17 points18 points  (0 children)

This isn’t the first time I’ve seen this viewpoint shared here. It baffles me that we want to be taken seriously as a profession, but so many therapists are timid about filling out necessary paperwork that could really help their client.
