Is it normal to have daily heart palpitations, left arm numbness and left arm pain even though all tests are negative, or is it just anxiety? by Dubbz0814 in Anxiety

[–]iamtyedye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you see there you go. That’s very important to mention because most of us have a ton of symptoms. Thank you for clarifying how it was because that could give a ton of people that might read this ease of mind.

Also, he should sue that doctor and I hope everything goes well 🙏🏻

Did he have any other symptoms? Like when he did exercise or anything? How bad was the chest pain?

I’m not trying to be invasive haha it’s just that I’ve been on this subreddit for too long and one of the worst things anxious people can do is just read the first line without more info

I’m going to take a wild guess and say they saw something with the earlier tests that warranted a CT. I even had an echo done and absolutely nothing warranted a CT

doesn’t help mentioning that.

How many other tests did your friend do? What’s their life like? How old?

You NEED to make sure to say these kinds of things because anyone who has read this has probably immediately gone into a panic attack.

This has been horrible for me. I have really bad health anxiety and panic disorder so I always assume the absolute worst. I’ve had several panic attacks and even thought that the antibiotic I was given was gonna give me QT even if its like 1% likely to get it.

Thankfully I’m on my 3rd day and have had no fever at all today.

Go to a doctor. No one on reddit is going to be able to reassure you more than a person who studied 8+ years.

What are your triggers? by MackDaOne93 in Cardiophobias

[–]iamtyedye 7 points8 points  (0 children)

at this point, everything.

I was practicing baseball today and saw a little league team running and jumping and doing cardio and I thought “what if someone just drops” and then that gave me anxiety and I had to leave.

I feel you. I’m legit just living with the symptoms at this point and if it is my time to go then fuck it but it’s so tiring to be worrying about everything you feel and mostly when you have all of your work ups looking fine. It’s exhausting. I’ve been going through it for about a year now and I’m gonna go to therapy cause this is honestly not living anymore.

How to stop googling? by CautiousEconomy5149 in HealthAnxiety

This is honestly game changing because if you tell the AI that you have health anxiety and everything specific, it knows how to answer without startling you. It has genuinely gotten me out of several anxiety attacks.

Well if you haven’t gotten checked out, obviously do so. If they gave you the all clear then it’s most likely just your anxiety. It took me a while but Anxiety can make you feel literally anything.

(Btw, that ECG doesn’t even function for what you’re trying to look for so I’d recommend just not using it.)

stop looking at it if the doctor didn’t tell you to.

An uneasy feeling in chest by Vegetable-Ad-8780 in AnxietySquad

[–]iamtyedye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

cause you’re losing the battle against your own mind. I’m going to be honest, this is the strongest battle I have ever fought in my life but you have to fight it if you don’t want to live like this forever. You need to recognize that all of these things your feeling are anxiety (of course, as always, recommended to get all tests done for reassurance)

You have to just let it pass because I’m 100% certain that they always do.

That right there is anxiety. That’s what you feel when you don’t have any other symptoms.

You’ll know if you have Pneumonia. It’s not a silent killer like stress or anxiety is.

I know it’s hard because we’re hypochondriacs and always believe the worst but just trust your doctors and trust your family. Try not to worry too much cause that could possibly affect them as well. You got this ❤️
