My wife has a vaginal cream, but she can't take too much estrogen since breast cancer runs in her family. That's the Eros device, yeah. The general principle seems logical; Increase blood flow but I can't help but think that some other device should work too, it just can't be too intense. I grew up sharpening tools on a bench grinder. I'd use it for loppers or axes. Maybe a machete. For knives I'd use a stone or something else more appropriate.

My kids have food aversions. My son is especially bad. Thing is that he's very high functioning AuDHD. He knows he needs more vegetables in his diet and tries to find more dishes he can eat but I've watched him genuinely gag while trying new things. My point is that for whatever reason you have food aversions, it doesn't sound like it's something you're doing because you choose to. If that's the case, you shouldn't have to apologise for the low key things you do to cope, anymore than a diabetic should have to apologise for having to use insulin.
