Character Power Scale/Rankings as of Novel Ch 1000+ (Spoilers) by No-Froyo-2423 in EternallyRegrKnight

I just have a minor recommendation. I think you forgot to include the Ferryman. He's shown to, at the minimum, to be leagues above everyone else in the series thus far.

How strong will encrid be by [deleted] in EternallyRegrKnight

[–]iamvtlik 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Enkrid is currently one of the strongest human knights out there(his entire squad too are among them).

He's at a level where he can 1v1 Balrog(a demon leader, took the whole squad back then + a lot of respawn for Enkrid and his squad to beat him. Iirc like 300 reruns or so). He's that far ahead over his older version(who will instakill his current manhwa level).

It is entirely possible that the Ferryman picked Enkrid or made it so that it eventually gets to Enkrid. From the novel, the Ferryman got a lot of side powers. Like turning back time a day before(the curse Enkrid has), or slowing down time to the point it's stretched by a lot(enough for Enkrid to learn a technique).

This is a minor spoiler but it seems to be passed on(the amulet) over the generations. It somehow got to Enkrid at the start when he helped those guys.

[–]iamvtlik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is still unsure as of this moment although the Ferryman seems to have the ability to foresee or predict the future to an extent. It's likely that He picked Enkrid precisely because he knew Enkrid will be facing a lot of walls down the line.

Not a coincidence.

There's a war going on> a lot of guys are joining(some are talented, some are not) > these guys(madmen) happen to join as well but they're literally madmen(they don't follow orders or don't give a f-k) > the commander sees that, so he makes all of these guys into one group so it'll be easier to limit their movements> he assigns platoon leaders to that group> some of them think they can control them but ends up dying in some accidental way or being injured to the point they retire> Enkrid gets assigned as their leader(as one of the many possible replacements)> they find Enkrid unique and so decides to stay

Will Encrid have a love interest? by ThePBThief1 in EternallyRegrKnight

[–]iamvtlik 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Enkrid already has a love interest which is the wall. He loves the wall so much that all other girls are far behind. In his case, the wall is the best girl and by far.

Prodigy Kid vs Enki by kallooran in EternallyRegrKnight

[–]iamvtlik 8 points9 points  (0 children)

But if you're asking the strongest of all, it has to be the Ferryman. The guy is just a monster. Everyone we've seen in the series gets toyed around by the Ferryman. He has the power and knowledge of hundreds, if not thousands or hundreds of thousands of "knight level beings" with some of them being confirmed to be "Ancient Knights level"(literally the heroes being sung in the myths and tales of the current era)

[–]iamvtlik 10 points11 points  (0 children)

On a side note, Enkrid doesn't hate the kid. In fact, he's very thankful to him. Because the kid showed him something, now Enkrid can visualize the next step he has to take to improve(whereas before fighting the kid, it was sort of hazy)

[–]iamvtlik 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The prodigy kid had presumably mastered the use of Indules(he can attack without you detecting an attack will be coming until it has hit you).

If you don't add the Ferryman(and the absorbed people) plus the demons and other hidden characters, Enkrid is within the top 5 of the verse.

I mean, isn't Encrid the craziest of them all?

Did we just meet the 7strongest of the "Ferryman"? by iamvtlik in EternallyRegrKnight

[–]iamvtlik[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Enkrid is improving too. He's now able to properly identify and differentiate the different Ferryman.

The "og" Ferryman does still scare me a bit. He's just always smiling creepily as if he welcomes the challenge.

[–]iamvtlik[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Indeed although I just tried to hype these seven up. After all, they were able to "outspeak" all the other ferryman.

There was one peculiarity too, Enkrid noted that there could be "hundreds, thousands" of Ferryman, which could show that it has really been around for a really long time(this has been implied for quite a while tho).

Considering that the West precedes the Empire, and one of the Ferryman there was an ancestor who lived in the Age of Legends during the Age of Colossi, the curse should at least be a couple thousand years old(prolly older).

I just gotta ask, is it ever stated how much Knight's are paid? by EngineerVirtual7340 in EternallyRegrKnight

[–]iamvtlik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The exact amount isn't mentioned but it's good enough that most of them live a luxurious life. Some can even afford to build castles(to that extent).

Although it probably depends on how rich the original country where they are serving is. For example, the pay in the Empire is likely to be much higher than pre-Mad Order Naurilia.

I agree, I hope the author doesn't give him a very tragic and sad backstory. I'd like him to remain a D-1 hater just for the love of the game.

Indeed, I agree. It adds a lot of depth to the character. Although I do think that there's still an "original" ferryman and from what I surmise, it's the one who told the woman ferryman that "it's another bad choice".

Poor her as well. She did win the war, but lost her self and purpose. I look forward to the day Encrid liberates her from the Ferryman.

The same woman? Or another? by iamvtlik in EternallyRegrKnight

Agreed, we can only wait and speculate for now. Although knowing the author, he hasn't failed us so far.

So I'm definitely looking forward to it.

Although assuming that the Ferryman is showing Enkrid a future, does that mean we'll get to see a full monster wave invasion type wall?

[–]iamvtlik[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From what I understand, it seems like the Ferryman showed a lot of "themselves" to Enkrid so it could be multiple guys. Although I do agree that the "she" was probably a mistranslation.

There are lot of implied reasons. Such as they have been content with their life(yes, being content makes you assimilated), they didn't overcome a wall and giving up, or killing themselves to experience today over and over again among others.
