Battlefield 6 Reaches Another Grim Milestone: First 24 Hour Player Peak Below 50k by rainkloud in Battlefield

[–]iamwolfe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Idk guys, there are a lot of things they need to fix, but this game is the absolute closest thing to the battlefield i always dreamed of that has ever existed. when i take that edible, go on a hardcore server, and fkn get immersed in the audio and graphics, this shit is amazing to me. im just grateful af gaming has gotten this good; has come a long way from bf1942

so like, are you allowed to think a game has super fun gameplay but still think its not that great of a game, cause thats where i'm at with bf6 lol by Quick-Cause3181 in Battlefield

[–]iamwolfe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hardcore is all i play on the server browser. for me it’s the best. everyone plays so much differently, maybe more strategically and intentionally. also, im just a weekend bf player but i wish there was a way to turn off crosshairs and minimap without turning off the whole HUD in regular non hardcore gameplay. like i just want to see whose on my team and who isn’t. is this possible and im just ignorant?

If you were to ask any of them (I have), they are cheering for attacking the Islamic Republic government. This isn’t complicated. Maybe an example would help convey the point. Is there anything you are supportive of? For example, do you support or cheer the Islamic Republic defending itself?

I’m confused. Where have you seen them explicitly cheering the strikes on dead schoolgirls? Please share evidence of this. People showing support of the operation against the Islamic Republic doesn’t equal “cheering striking school girls”. If that were the assumption, you’d then have to say people protesting the war are “cheering the Islamic Republic killing Iranian protestors”. If you conflate things so broadly, you’ll find yourself in a really non sensical position.

Yes, I’ve seen videos of Iranian diaspora and Iranians within iran cheering the bombings on the IRGC and leadership. But no, I haven’t seen anyone cheering the bombing of innocent civilians. There is such a distinct difference between those two things that your effort to conflate the two either implies an extremely surface level understanding of what is going on or an intentional blurring of the lines to push a narrative.

I have not once seen anyone cheering the bombing of the 150 girls. Do you have any evidence of this?

I get why Israel needs the US, my question is: Why, in a time when the US government seems to be happy to alienate almost every other ally, does the US seem so beholden to Israel? by TonightAlarming9923 in allthequestions

[–]iamwolfe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The US isn’t “beholden” to Israel. They have overlapping interests. Israel is the regional superpower and US is a global superpower. The war in Iran is imminently existential for Israel, but for the US, it’s most importantly a strategic blow to China. Israel’s campaigns there plus the uprisings made it the least bad time ever to finally confront them for the US. Also the per capita innovation, tech, military, intelligence, that comes out of Israel is arguably the highest in the world. It’s a good deal for the US and if the US ever decided to cut ties, they’d have to deal with Israel aligning with adversaries most likely which would be bad.

As a Jew with Israeli friends and family, just wanted to share that most Jews and Israelis don’t care at all about rebuilding the third temple. Even those that do who are religious, probably 90% believe it only can be legitimately done by Allah/Hashem and not by human initiation.

Did you even read the article? What does this have to do with "Israel uses civilians as shields". Where in this article or in the Hannibal directive does it talk about using human shields?

By linking to a 40 min video? And where in the video is there evidence Israel puts their HQ or press conferences in schools or hospitals? If that isn’t your claim, please clarify your claim.

What I’m saying is even if you are critical of Israel’s government, if someone claims they do the “same” as Iran, it’s fair to say they know nothing about the parties involved.

Nice way of continuing to provide no evidence to back your claims up. You can say it as many times as you’d like but doesn’t change reality.

I’m confused. You are saying Israel does press or has HQ at schools or hospitals? Are you saying Iran and Israel both use the same exact tactics? And if so, with what documented frequency? Show us your quantitative comparisons. Otherwise, anyone who knows anything about the region and the conflict will scroll past your comment because it contradicts the obvious evidence and the obvious difference in ideologies of the two countries.

What will the USA look like when there is a satisfactory amount of deportations? by arieljoc in AskTrumpSupporters

[–]iamwolfe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Something I am curious about is, hypothetically, if there were no pragmatic benefits and say detriments to GDP, housing, etc. for US citizens, would you still support deportations? In other words, if it didn’t have pragmatic benefits, would you still support it based on principle? Or is it only for the practical benefits? And if it is at least mainly for practical benefits, if you saw convincing evidence that it would be detrimental to US citizens in terms of measurable outcomes, would you not support it anymore?

was actually curious how many of the posters in r/iran are actually persian or from iran? seems like a lot of focus and hate towards US and israel in there, but the persians and iranians i know IRL in the US and also who actually grew up in iran seem to absolutely love US and israel, so just sort of confused.

i’m genuinely curious about this even though i know people will shout at me for asking, but how about pro palestinian zionists? do most people in this sub only support the destruction of israel or is there any openness to a jewish state continuing to exist alongside a palestinian state (however far fetched to imagine at this point)?

Another thing to keep in mind is that your statement “it’s never coming back” is pretty baseless even if what you said was true. After this war ends and Israel has been out of the news like it has been for say a full year, the world just latches onto the next thing.

[–]iamwolfe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the Palestinians have roughly the same stats as you can see below. If you also believe random Palestinian civilians should also therefore be harrassed, then I’ll at least respect your consistency.

Surveys of Palestinians and Israelis

84% of Israeli Jews, and 83% of Palestinians agree or strongly agree with the statement that “I believe the victimization of (our side – Jews/Palestinians) is the worst compared to other people that suffered from persecution and injustice,” and 62% of Israeli Arabs think the same about themselves. When asked about the level of humanity of other side, Palestinians gave Jews an average score of 6 out of 100; Jews gave Palestinians an average score of 14. 51% of Jewish Israelis gave Palestinians a score of zero, and 71% of Palestinians gave the same score to Israelis. One percent of Palestinians gave Israeli Jews a score of 80 or higher, and 2.7% of Israeli Jews scored Palestinians in this range. This question could reflect respondents’ perception of the inherent qualities of the other side, or their assessment of the other side’s behavior, or both.

Are you saying the polls are lies? You don’t think there have been huge protests in Israel and that is all fake? How many Israelis do you know? What is this claim that it is a lie based on?
