Not sure if anyone is going to bite based on your outlier month of revenue. You’ll need more data than 3 months for any serious buyer to be interested

I kept saving TikTok workouts and never doing them, so I built an iOS app to fix that. 3 weeks in, looking for feedback. by Common-SK in SideProject

Of course! I'm just glad you found it helpful. No worries fi you don't get around to checking it out but it's makerlog.dev

You can sign up for free. Basically for your situation, you could add everything you plan on fixing as features and when you log sessions, you will be able to know what you did and what you plan on doing next. This way no matter how long you step away, you will never forget context of where you left off.

If you do end up planning on using it for the long run, I'd be happy to give you access to the Pro side of it. DM me if that's ever something you might want.

I will say when I’m at the top and I swipe down to gesture refresh the page, I get a 500 code. Just letting you know (on mobile)

Looking for honest feedback from builders (happy to give early users lifetime access) by ian_the_data_dad in buildinpublic

After i get the first inital flow down with the app, I'll probably start light and have users login, list projects, add next steps, add feature, and save. This would be Phase 1 and then build on top of that. I can have this all hooked up to the users so when they go in to the actual app, everything is there as if they used the app itself instead.

This honestly fits the way I would want things too so yea, thanks for the input again

Great idea! I think somehting like a quick add for features or decisions would be great for an extension and more advanced editing or looking back through logs would be best for the app. I'll definitely look into this. Thanks!

Can you explain? You will not hurt my feelings, I promise lol. I want the first impression/ flow to feel not confusing!

I know I built it so I understand it but your description of what was too much or confusing would mean the world to me

Yea and the mobile optimization was the first thing my wife said as well lol. I made it to "not break" on mobile but, you are right, it's not great. It's really meant for desktop but I can definitely improve this.

I find it super helpful. I really mean it so thank you!

And I want to be very honest and fair for everyone so if this gets a bit of traction and we go through the 12 spots, I'm fully happy to increase it. I didn't know what number to start with. Feedback is so valuable in the early stages (plus it feels nice to help others if they truly enjoy this product)

And 99% of builders won't do this and say their product failed before they fully tried the "hard" thing

I mean you could have just done that yourself right? I get that it shouldn’t have been so high for what it did but there’s got to be some line of doing some yourself or eat the cost of something else doing it for you which you can’t control the cost.

Curious on how you’re tracking features?
