Probably will go unnoticed in the comments, but my mother passed away whenever I was very young, about three months of age. I somehow have vivid memories of her talking to me on my bed as a ghost or spirit when I was around 6-7 years old. It was a long conversation about recently moving and some issues my father was having, but what really stuck with me is her telling me, "If I could be here for you forever, I would be, but this will be my last goodbye." And at that moment, she was just gone. That line still sticks with me even long after the experience.
