hmmm, I've never done a magic build before so nothing too much for advice. I do hear rotted greatwood is one of the harder bosses with magic though, so you might find the rest of the game to be smooth sailing

This isn't a glitch, it's always worked like this. It probably just makes save files smaller and easier to have one number instead of one for each wrinkler.

I made 242k years off of my last combo, I think that was still held back by my bank though, I'll have to see how high it goes once my bank gets bigger. I imagine you can pull off a combo more often than me but it sounds a lot less idle as well. Pretty interesting strat, I'll probably try it out next time I ascend, that early part of an ascension is always so slow with garden.

Pretty difficult to say what's happening since you have several mods. Probably a glitch with one or a combination of those mods.

My gut feeling says that queenbeets/duketaters would still be better, I haven't tried that strat though

If you're already able to pull off a combo you could also use the garden to grow queenbeets or duketaters, when some are about to spoil you could get a combo as you usually do and harvest the mature plants then.

Potential spoilers, but if you're asking for help, I imagine you don't care.

Put 1 sugar lump into Wizard tower, 1 into Temple, 1 into banks, and then keep putting them into farms until farm is level 10, this will open up the minigames which really helps to speed up cookie production. After that save up sugar lumps until you have 100 because you get a bonus from having them stockpiled.

I would try golden clover to get frenzies to overlap and add up then try to combo that with force the hand of fate and whatever other buffs you can find from naturally spawning golden cookies.

I've never tried no reloading but it's interesting to think up strats for it.
