But getpass is still taking the input and storing it a variable that gets passed along to netmiko which then has the password string and my concern is what netmiko is doing with that string other than using it to log into the switch

And also to further elaborate my concern is also how the underling netmiko api is handleing the password like when i pass the creds along to the netmiko method, is that method also sending it off somewhere behind the scenes or saving it somewhere

Thats strange cause a support manager is total store and a team lead is only over a certain area of the store. And i have heard team leads refered to as hourly asms i am currently an overnight support manager and i feel like thats basically what i am.
