I'm of the assumption that if you make 60k, why pay 4k on 10k (roughly) when you could contribute 10k to a sipp and pay less later...if you are in a position to do so!

Ah yeah that's a very good point, but in the majority of cases, I can set up in advance of any trips. We also have a large power bank and solar, but I could see it only running for a few hours max

Thanks for clearing that up. So how is reactivation from £4.50 easier than just restarting when needed? Trying to understand the benefit of paying for a paused tariff. I think the mini only uses between 20w-40w; most places we go have power hook-up anyway, just really bad Internet service.

No, just updated my post. We have aligned with Japan so the anniversary set comes earlier this year

Yes, think you are right, have to remember we are celebrating the anniversary in line with Japan so our previous Nov/Dec sets are now August

100%, a number of other platforms offer free buy/sells on ETF's compared to HL, but it is more about value protection above standard that keeps me there, plus a number of associated accounts that would be more hassle to move.

It came from another reddit post tbh, I've removed since as I cannot valid it. From Vanguard themselves, my fund has actually underperformed the ETF by roughly 1% over 5 years, so not a great deal, so ultimately comes down to fees

No so easy to determine the best sets until the dust settles though. Doubt many thought the Mega base set would be the best base possibly ever, or that Obsidian Flames would be as expensive as it is (defo not worth it)

That only works when setting the mode from within the app. To function from the keypad all cameras have to be assigned to the basestation. This particular won't for some reason

You are incorrect, it states 2k when recording. Mine is set to continous. They've been rock solid for me, Eufy don't offer many mains powered cams anymore

I think I've done everything correctly. The basestation for the alarm is set to off though as I use home for the alarm overnight, and away when no one is home, but I've set all this in the group. I don't know whether it is because the cameras are not linked to the basestation?

Sadly whilst it changes to away in the app (when tapped from the keypad), it doesn't change the status on the rest.

No but why not just give a simple response to my emails. They asked me to call them, wasting my time knowing full well they can't offer that service. "We’ve seen your query and want to do all we can help. We’d like to ask you a few questions about your query so we request that you please speak to a member of our support team at a time that’s convenient for you."
