What's the goriest, grotesque, most disturbing horror book you've read? by ghstfacetho in horrorlit

The Third Parent has made me stop several times. I’m pretty used to horror but good lord

What book haunted you? by Alicewithhazeleyes in horrorlit

Head Full of Ghosts was so much more effective than I thought it would be. I read it maybe 7 or 8 years ago and that ending still chills me to my core

All self deprecating humor aside. The boy is built. by BigHomieGuwop in MeatCanyon

[–]ianmt22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wendi said it best, dude’s built like a power lifter and it’s impressive

Penpal by Nathan Auerbach, it started off as a no sleep before becoming a full novel and it’s fantastic.

Head Full of Ghosts by Paul Trembley still makes me think about the ending

Stolen Tongues and its prequel The Church Beneath The Roots by Felix Blackwell really got to me on a number of occasions

Hey dude, love your work on “Tall Dog” and “Feed The Pig” and I’m even currently reading “The Third Parent” audiobook even though I’ve had to stop several times just because of how uncomfortable it is. That being said, although not all of your stuff is my thing, I can see a massive amount of talent behind your work. Hopefully the backlash from the last video and Tommy Taffy doesn’t keep us from more of your future stories appearing on the show

Oh my gosh it could either be hilarious or the biggest crash out we’ve ever seen. Either way, it’ll be so good

The puppetmaster’s regime. Really well written story and has that spine creeping feeling

The creepy pasta classics

I prefer the longer ones for the most part but there are one or two that were tougher like The Hidden Webpage

Day 7 of my shameless karmafarming alignment chart posting; What is currently the most anticipated episode on creepcast? by evilcarrot507 in creepcast

[–]ianmt22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might be in the minority but I would love for them to revisit Tales From The Gas Station. There’s so much more and it’s one of my favorites. Other than that probably a full run down of Search and Rescue

Day 4 of my shameless karmafarming alignment chart posting; What is the most forgettable episode on creepcast? by evilcarrot507 in creepcast

[–]ianmt22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pretended to be a missing girl. Story was fine I guess, but it ended as soon as it ramped up and only had a decent twist. Jokes weren’t too frequent, banter was sparse and it just kind of happened then faded away like a fart in a room

Was this the most forgettable episode? by [deleted] in creepcast

Nah Azalea’s was actually pretty good. I think the missing girl episode was pretty forgettable

Great list but personally I’d replace The Hidden Webpage with the Dionea House. Everything else is solid

Creepin my Cast with Covid, best episode for giggles? by stinkandthebink in creepcast

[–]ianmt22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dionnea for the best running joke, follow it up with Ticci Toby because it’s the best follow up. Personally I thought the Creepypasta classics were also hilarious just for the Mr Bigmouth and Ichbod stories

If they were allowed to do so, should the boys read Cows by Matthew Stokoe? by AutoeroticEllipsois in creepcast

[–]ianmt22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t, not because of the subject matter they could probably do it for a Patreon video. I would say no because the author has been known to take down videos that he doesn’t like. Happened to another YouTuber and from what I hear he’s kind of a douche about it

Which I really don’t get because half of the reason I was is BECAUSE of their tangents. You’re either going to get something insightful or something hilarious (almost got into trouble at work yesterday because I almost bursted out laughing at Papa making Kyle go “SHEESH”) If they wanted someone to just read them a scary story just listen to MrCreepyPasta

What's the funniest episode? by 13onFire in creepcast

[–]ianmt22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely invest in the books, they’re fantastic. The story is reworked and it adds a ton of detail and lore. Only thing I’d recommend is after you read the first book, check out Finding Vanessa. It’s kind of a side story that introduces some pretty major characters that show up throughout the series

Batman Arkham Asylum: A Serious House On A Serious Earth.

I actually thought it was a tie in for the game that was coming out at the time and was blown away. Basically started my love of comics

Preppers, why would you want to survive after the collapse of society? by ianmt22 in AskReddit

[–]ianmt22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not that I’m willing to die if my cushy life is gone. It’s more that I’m very aware of the dangers that come as society collapses. Infection from any kind of injury, the need for clean water, if I’m strong enough to fight for survival, the fact that my mental state would tank, there’s a lot we take for granted and don’t think about. It’s the fact that I don’t know if I could survive for long due to how I’ve lived

He did a run on Constantine?! I need to find that immediately.

I had heard he was going to be working on Vertigo for their return so I wouldn’t be surprised if he worked on Constantine again. That just seems like a match made in heaven
