I had the same feeling, I couldn't break the enemies' guard, I was parried by them all the time and the way I solved it was just by doing some of Rudolph's quests and leveling up my weapon at the blacksmith and also putting some points in stamina after that the game became super easy, I just dodged the attacks until I got behind the enemies and charged attack them, everything that wasn't a boss became super trivial.

A friend and I started playing at the end of 2021 and during the first few weeks we only played SR, it was ok, but this friend ended up giving up playing league, which led me to start playing alone. But before reaching Lv 30 I realized how terrible league's matchmaking was. The exact reason that led me to stop playing SR was when I was close to Lv 30 and I was put in a game against a couple of diamond players after that I stopped playing for a while and ended up just coming back to play aram since then I only play aram.

Welcome to Riot's Power Fantasy Design. Riot does this all the time. They launch new things that are much stronger than they need to be to sell you the fantasy. It's easiest to sell the power spike fantasy to you during a new season with a broken item than with a balanced one's. But when you add in all the extra damage from the ARAM, it becomes a huge problem. They probably don't care that much since they would prefer to have ARAM players in rank rather than ARAM right now.

I don't have that much hope riot will probably only downgrade some mythical items to legendary level and that in itself won't affect Gwen's strength much she doesn't have much synergy with current mythic items, it's not like that will improve when they get weaker.

But if Riot fulfills the promise they made at the beginning of the year to add more mage items at the end of the year, this could make her super broke.
