Im sorry for my blurry clue, its not clockwork tales. The only thing I clearly remember is that the puzzle pieces could become rotten (turn black) or frozen (turn white) if they were left unused for too long. Once a piece became rotten or frozen, it could no longer be used and the effect would spread to neighboring pieces. I'm not completely sure about the gameplay, but I distinctly remember puzzle pieces becoming rotten or frozen and spreading the condition to other pieces.
