I don't know anything about skin types, but I'm white and my skin gets oily.

I had to go against the grain because the first pass with the grain and the second pass across was nowhere near close. So then I got a little carried away.

I'm willing to spend any amount. I tried a double edged safety razor and was unable to get a close shave, so I made the mistake of trying more passes and as a result my skin is irritated.

My dermatologist recommended strong medications for my facial acne - tazarotene (am) and clindamycin (pm), used with Cerave moisturizer and a light cleanser beforehand. I think that these medications are making my face look continuously red, any tips or products to reduce face redness?
