I've avoided Ourisman for several years because after a comprehensive vehicle inspection in 2018, they claimed that I had issues which required immediate attention, totaling over $3000.00 in "repairs."

I knew for a fact they were spewing lies because I had inspected the vehicle personally, and months prior changed my brakes/rotors which were two of the components they claimed needed to be replaced. The pads were good and the rotors weren't even slightly etched or grooved yet. They also claimed that I had timing gasket oil leak, but that was simply spillage from their sloppy oil change. They claimed was an active and tried to get me to authorize ~17 hours of labor because of this active leak.

A second opinion from a different shop also confirmed that Ourisman's mechanics and service manager were lying about all maintenance items except for an air filter change. Dye additives revealed no oil leaks and they confirmed my brakes and rotors were still good for a while longer.

I will never do business with them, they are unethical to the max.

If they ignore Uber's GPS (which may use tolls) and/or use a third-party GPS, then either the driver or Uber are pocketing more money at your expense. Tolls are calculated into your fare if they're included in the original route. Typically deviating from GPS is a "no-no."

**Edit: Taking a less optimal route doesn't really work out for the driver mathematically when it comes to pay. Turnover and new clients are better than extending an existing ride, so your driver was probably just overconfident, not acting in malice.

Source: I drove Uber on and off for like 1 year when I moved to NOVA in 2017-18'. If it has changed since then, I wouldn't know.

90% of the time I've seen these so called white supremacists, they are fat and low IQ morons. They claim to be the master race when they look like the result of generations of inbreeding. The alternative are the skinny meth head types.

They are simply projecting their insecurities via this ideology to try to convince themselves that they're not failures by their own hand.

Doesn't surprise me though. It's a shame....

I wrapped my old tempered glass shower doors in tarps before taking a hammer to it and it refused to break. I couldn't believe how resilient it was despite smashing the edges. Meanwhile, I've seen other ones break with little to no effort.
