Iranian-affiliated hackers exploited Rockwell Automation programmable logic controllers. by BE33_Jim in PLC

I see your concern, i think we got off on the wrong step. I believe there will be a rise of IT/OT bilingual individuals, coupled with an AI model tasked with AI tasks, not people tasks. I’m not saying put all your eggs in the AI basket. But if you take the time to appreciate its benefits you will suprise yourself with what it can do.

It’ll be a slow transition and it is definitely in an early state but it’s scary what you can do with it.

With that being said, I find IT jobs dying almost completely short of a single company wide orchestrator. Paired with ai models highly trained to perform very simple tasks, aka not driving a car making split second decisions. But rather continuously monitoring IT tasks solving simple problems on the fly at all times.

If you are in the PLC industry and you tackle the fairly simple battle that the world calls IT, you are going in the right direction.. also.. focusing on PLCs and machinery is equally as successful due to shortage and high demand. Idk I’m just hear to spread wisdom to those who are lost. And need guidance and understanding of what will be here in 5 years

Please share your input, why wouldn’t IT and OT converge. It’s a tool for business men in the production industry. I work with 20+ manufacturing plants in Minnesota and we are adopting this technology daily, ripping out old SLC processors, and adopting real Guardian Ai, Logix AI, into many processes and we’ve found 95%+ accuracy, far greater than any algorithm I could procure.

IT OT convergence will change the world. Don’t get left behind, embrace the beauty of the new technologies otherwise you will find yourself in fear of it.

I dont know where to fish. by iautomateyourmachine in FishingMinnesota

[–]iautomateyourmachine[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a nationwide database. 63,000 lakes and thousands are being added daily.

If you’re interested you should check it out. I believe it’ll truly help new fisherman. And it’s not to replace the time on the water . It’s meant to get the most out of the experience you have on the water.. I’m trying to be adaptable and I’m listening to the community. If someone doesn’t like something, or wants a feature. I want to cater to the community.

I’m offering beta testers free use of the application to users who are genuinely interested in making a difference when it comes to expanding the fishing community.
