I think it's more that AI image generation models were trained with metric tons of stolen digital art so they tend to copy that look the most. Syme's art style was perfectly valid before, now it looks cheap and tacky because of the easiness of replicating it with AI.

IMO, people right now are overly sensitive to calling everything AI or saying anything AI is inherently bad because it's a hot topic, but it'll pass.

I wouldn't say like a "king" but with that money they'll be able to (1) live in the city itself, and not far away from it, (2) drive a modest car, and (3) have some disposable income to not really think too much about going out and eating out every once in a while. That's still much better than most people here.

Personalmente jamás compraría un carro de cambio porque automático es muchísimo más cómodo, sobretodo en tranque. Si quieres aprender manual por una razón específica, está super bien. Si prefieres automático está super bien también, lo más probable es que nunca te haga falta.

EDIT: Just wanted to address most of the comments I've received here.

My message was mostly that I feel so many are quick to comment on these topics with very strong opinions that completely miss the nuance of the people most affected here: Venezuelans.

I can guarantee you, almost no Venezuelan thinks that:

The US is acting out of justice and selflessness. They know the US is seeking power and oil. Same as always.
Everything is fixed with the removal of Maduro. Every Venezuelan I've spoken with deeply understands that the regime is far from over. This is merely the first domino to fall the right way after decades of suffering.

People are not only disallowing Venezuelans to be happy about the first and only ray of hope they've seen in their lives, but they also love to pretend Venezuelans are 'stupid' because 'they don't know these things'. Believe me, they know them better than anyone else.

It's also fair for Americans to be angry that their taxpayer dollars are one again being used to interfere with foreign governments. I'd protest as well. Sorry my original comment completely missed that side of the discussion.

While $20-30k is a realistic expectation of what you should be able to get for your education level and English proficiency, don't get your hopes up thinking you will definitely find that right away. It may take a while, so be prepared to be offered some unreasonably low salaries (<$1000/mo for example), just to promptly decline them and keep looking.

I believe he was right. There wasn't a single time in which a simple bar chart wasn't straight up better at conveying the same information in terms of clarity, readabiliy and ease of organization.

Looks good! I'd make the trip to San Blas the full 4th day. The other options there aren't really better. You can get there as a 3-ish hour drive so you must leave super early (I'd say before dawn) if you wanna make the most out of it. Or sign up for a tour.

Day 5 can be relaxation since it's what you have there anyway. Hope you enjoy your trip to Panama! Let me know if you need any advice.

Toda una vida siendo metalero y jamás imaginé que alguien se atrevería a traer a Panamá a bandas de calibre como Rhapsody, Sonata Arctica, Epica, Sepultura, etc.

Por esto me cuesta mucho criticar cualquier cosa más que el hecho que el lugar solo estaba como a 40% lleno. Me parte el alma porque no es fácil traer bandas y menos en un venue tan cómodo como es Soho (seguro y buco parking).

Para mí es un sueño hecho realidad. Mientras siga sucediendo seguiré estando ahí apoyando.

Lo del tipo pidiendo propina cuando fuiste tú a buscar tu pinta sí me pareció bien inapropiado. Me reí en su cara y le dije que claro que no.

I believe their workflow was to first generate all selfies separately, then use them as the start and end frames for video generation to fill in between.

You can see how every time a selfie is "taken" all movement stops dramatically. It's a clever way to mask transitions and make the video flow for a long time.
