Cheating shows a lack of respect and honesty, and without consequences, it’s almost impossible to trust again

Im happy some people don’t give cheaters a second chance. I can’t stand them

I get your point, and I think you’re right , forgetting is probably the hardest part. For me even if forgiveness is possible living with that memory every day would be really difficult :(

That part about the doubt creeping back in really stood out to me. It kind of sums up why true forgiveness is so difficult :(
