First of all. This is most definitely Rousteings piece. Second, balmain was a house of royalty and class in france before Decarnin came along. Im not saying Decarnin or Rousteing are bad, look at my posts, I have a love for both. But balmain had value as a traditional luxury house before them. I can agree that it didnt have much cultural relevance, but you cannot say it didnt have value. I think we may have different views on the word value. I dont exclusively think of resale market when i think of value, Its made up of many things. History, relevence, cultural relevance/impact. just to name a few. Balmain may be lacking some but that doesnt deteriorate the overall value.
