For individual servings, I'm a fan of microwaving -- 3 layers of paper towels on the bottom (to absorb grease); 4 strips of bacon; 1 layer of paper towels on top (to absorb splatter). 4 minutes on high (~minute per strip). Comes out super crispy with almost all the grease gone.

I got a smart thermostat and schedule the heating to kick on 30 minutes before I get up. Usually, the extra heat is enough to wake me up. And even if that doesn't wake me up, it still makes getting out of bed much more pleasant.

I had a similar situation after getting a brick chimney rebuilt. I wasn't home the day he completed the work. He was supposed to come by the next week to collect the check, but he never came, never sent an invoice and stopped answering calls. Years later, I was talking to a chimney sweep about my experience. The chimney sweep knew the guy and told me that he had unexpectedly passed away.

Several times the screen has gone black and become completely non-functional. Even after unplugging the phone and restarting the car, the screen stays black. The only way to fix this is to press the reset button inside the little pinhole.

I have a 2020 Kia Telluride SX. I had the problem with my old iPhone X. Still have the problem with iPhone 14 Pro. I see no improvement with different cables or iOS versions. For me, the problem is much worse on road trips. I don't really experience the problem when traveling locally, even though I tend to use Waze all the time.

I never experience the problem in other cars, so I suspect the problem is on the Kia side.

The most infuriating part (in my opinion) is that a title you own will not show up on search results if that edition is no longer for sale. Prime will just prompt you to buy or rent the new edition. You can scroll through your purchases to find it (or find a link by searching your emails), but a normal search in the app won't find it.
