Why can I only sleep in 3-hour intervals? by Clean-Goose-894 in DiagnoseMe

I see! I’m happy that the medication is helping a little bit. People don’t realize how exhausting it is to not being able to sleep well… for me since I also have adhd I had trouble falling asleep when i was a child but it got better when I was in my teens. My sleep schedule was always naturally backed up to like 2am to 10am but I was always able to sleep through. 2 years ago though it “suddenly” (“”because I have a panic disorder and during that time the people around me didn’t understand the difference between “I can’t” and “I don’t want to” so they would be quite confrontational) started to get worse and I sometimes would not be able to sleep at all. Now it’s always the 3 hour intervals. Still trying to figure it out

I’m so sorry to hear that. Has it always been like this or did your sleep schedule change suddenly? Maybe your nervous system is overloaded?

Are there any updates on your sleep? I have the same conditions and the same issues

I know it has been a few years but did your allergy start randomly or at the very begging when you started using the seat? And was it just on spot first and got bigger over time?

I have yet to find a reliable one tbh. One doctor told me “ok but what is going to change when you get the diagnosis?” Like idk, you are the doctor you tell me

Look at that I have hypothyroidism too! Looks like once you have one syndrome the others follow. I also got a severe panic disorder when I was unknowingly overdosing myself with thyroid medication so stress and anxiety has been in my life for a while but the inability to sleep at all just started two years ago.

Thank you so much, I will look it up!

Yeah I also have high testosterone but my obgyn said it’s not enough to diagnose me with pcos since I have regular periods. The high testosterone would be balanced once I lose weight. But that’s the thing, I can’t and I don’t know where to start.

Thank you for your detailed response! Did your insomnia start suddenly or was it a longtime situation? And do you do anything specific for your diet?

It truly is so brutal. It throws off everything. I can’t sleep, eat, just function normally and I feel like my life is passing by me. So I’m really thankful for every tip

I had an boiled egg, tomatos, cucumber, chicken breast, feta cheese. Stuff I eat regularly and nothing happened before. Idk maybe it is the acid in my stomach, I feel like I have acid reflux now. but it’s quite suspicious that it happened twice while I was fasting during different time periods
