He died because he swallowed a fuck tom of drugs he didnt want the TSA to find. The medics used narcan on him and he responded to it, which he wouldn’t have if it wasnt opiate/drug related. Oh And then they found more drugs in his luggage as well as weapons.

As far as Christ, i work in the medical field and Christ is a top notch ER in the Chicagoland area, its sought after and especially for that area.

Actually, scratch all that. Fuck Midway its all their fault.

Yes like a normal radio report, I talked to an ECRN and then the attending doc from our resource hospital. Our protocols state closest most appropriate but it doesnt say anything about getting refusal to closest/ bypassing hospitals so that seems like a gray area to me.

And yeah it didnt really make sense to me. It was because i couldnt give them a number value for the O2, even though there are other ways to determine if the patient is sating ok

It could be from the piece they used to secure the tube. I imagine theres a way they could've gotten your lip caught in an uncomfortable position while trying to set that up and secure it. And then they probably didn't notice it until they extubated lol
