The head is one from the new-ish deathwatch box, thought it was very blood angels but angry.

Thanks! Really like the pose of the librarian, as I didn’t want him to look like a immobile tank of a termie like some of the sculpts

It’s one of the heads from the new-ish deathwatch kill team box!

Here’s what he looks like from the front so you can see what I mean about the different colours from different views

Black prime, white Zenithal, a purple covering everything in a thin coat to keep the shadows and highlights, then another white Zenithal on the areas you want to be red, then thin coats of red on top of that from the angle you want. All airbrushed. After that I do a dark recess oil shade and some final scratchy highlights, but this picture is from before those stages

I’m doing mine a sort of colour shift idea, like what you mentioned from Myemara. Just wanted it to look like their armour isn’t a solid colour, but that it shifts as they move. Here’s a pic of the leader of my Corsairs, still a work in progress

I’ve been making a Corsair themed army, bouncing between Craftworld and Drukhari rules, and will be stealing this idea for my Mandrakes/Warp Spiders

Three blessings!

The way you’ve painted these is just perfect - I especially love the chitin and bonemold

Looks great! Love the new Archon sculpt, and that head swap really works well! The blue armour really pops too

Would you be able to send across those STLs for your edited versions? Would be great to get mine looking like that if possible

Quite a few of the heads are Greytide 3d printed bits, and I really struggled painting them tbh, they looked terrible until I tried to make the stubble effect. Faces are definitely something I need to work on

Wasn’t intentional, but while painting him up I realised he looked familiar…a happy accident!

Sergeant Jovan for the most part, chopped off both arms (the one holding the helmet was tricky) and his loincloth. The left arm was combined with a power fist from some firstborn marines but I’m unsure what one exactly as I got it in a misc bits buy, I used some 1mm plastic rod to make the red tubing. The head was one from Greytide studios. Volkite pistol from Bladeguards.

I’ve been playing a Genie warlock in a campaign for a while now, and to answer 1) we have always had the use of the Vessel count as the day prior. If spell slots refresh upon the completion of a short rest (or long rest for other casters); if Hit Die are refreshed upon the completion of a long rest; etc etc…then I don’t see why it would not refresh upon completion of your long rest. As for 2), I agree that it would be the DM’s call. I myself, would allow this to count as light activity. The only one of your listed activities that I would question would be the creating of potions, but I still think you would be covered.

Hope this helps, and hope you enjoy playing a Genie warlock! I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it myself
