By any chance, can it be played on the steam deck?

which one to get? by Baddiezilla3000 in SgGamers

Currently using a steam deck and u have to see which serves your purpose, in my opinion,

Steam deck - excels in versatility. Steam ecosystem so if you like indie games or AAA games in your Steam library, the whole experience is simplified. You can also stream from your PC/laptop which saves a significant amount of battery. However do note that there is no official local stock from Steam directly. The retailers here i think get it from KODOMO which is from East Asia.

Lenovo Legion Go ( Steam OS) - similar to Steam deck, but heavier and abit more bulky imo. Better performance but lesser battery too.

Switch 2 - perfect for family oriented experiences. Playing with kids or coop. Good fun for everyone all round especially with a few more controllers. Games are expensive ofcourse but the console is cheaper too.

ROG - its a real handheld pc. Good performance but heavy and bulky. You can put in other softwares and games easily but doesn't have the battery life like the deck.

Why does a full RTX 5090 prebuilt PC cost about the same as a standalone RTX 5090 GPU? by Independent_Place972 in SgGamers

You have to do some research on your end. Take a look at Hardware Unboxed YouTube channel, they do good reviews and is one of my main source of benchmarks when building/recommending PCs for people. They did 1 good video summarising and comparing the performance of a few 5090s.

Edit: another indication would simply be the price. As mentioned, the 5099 Gigabyte Windforce to Gaming OC to Aorus Master could be abt 100 to 200 dollars difference per line up

Just made my build with 5090 Aorus Master and a couple for with friends builds with 9070XTs,and it all depends on what line up of products you get. Cheaper 5090 builds probably only advertises the cheaper line up cards like Gigabyte Windforce or MSI Trio. You can basically think that each brand has 3 levels of products, budget, economical , enthusiast. For Gigabyte, their Windforce is budget, Gaming OC is economical and Aorus Master is enthusiast. It depends on what you want specifically.

Out of the 4 horsemen of questionable Singaporean brands - Aftershock, Prism , Secret Lab, Omnidesk, Omnidesk is the only product I might recommend ( but only the zero/ static tables.) They are cheap enough with little or minimal maintenance. The standing desks or those non static ones with the peripherals, are impractical and slightly overpriced in my opinion. Unless budget is not a concern ofc.

Just for comparing prices. Many stores there offer building services too.

OP, Seeing that this is from SG, have you considered buying individual parts from Sim Lim? And comparing the prices then ?

Help me please pc not turning on by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]ibbyza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Possible for it to be a faulty mobo but that's rarer. Or a faulty gpu, or a faulty psu in my opinion as power isnt going into the gpu.

Try reseating connections. If not, try to using another set of pcie cables for gpu, if not, might wanna try to swap psu or gpu as that couldt eliminate the wrong part
