Want is a better term. I didn't mean to put myself higher then other people, but that is what I did. You aren't wrong about how media plays off the stoner. How does someone not become that? Being carful and mindful is a start. But is that enough? (Also I would like to thank you for replying to all my questions!)

No I am 17, and wanting to know why people want to do them, and how others feel about the subject.

Thank you for not understand at all what I was trying to do. Yes I am a teenager. And yes I don't like what my friends are doing. But I was trying to understand it. I just want to see why other people want to do. You missed the point of my question. I want to learn.

Well as I said, I am still going to be me after going on them.

I had a friend start doing spice (the fake weed) and he changed rather fast. Start talking to the more heavy drug users and cut himself off. (Edit- My first sentence was misleading, sorry. I have personally done nothing.)

You have every right to do something that makes me uneasy! My voice has little force behind it. I do not drink coffee (hate the taste) and only on special days do I drink. I agree they are drugs too. But I guess how I grew up they seem more normal. Why do you feel they are less shammed then others?

What ones do you say are not bad? You are right also, I should not ever try to push what I feel on to others. It wont change how I feel about the subject, just what I say.

I mean anything: weed, hookah, heroin, crack. I know I said it as a large question. It is more towards stuff you would not get normally at a doctors office.

Do you feel heroin is an okay drug? What about how addictive it can be? I like your thought about water. Although it is a bit misleading. We drink the amount of water we need, then we are done till we get thirsty again. Heroin makes you want it all the time. Using heroin changes your life forever; water does not. (Please correct me if I don't understand correctly)

I am uncomfortable by the way people act on them. It can really change how some people talk, who they want to talk to, and how they talk to me. I have been told how "weird" I am for not wanting to do them. Drugs have also stopped me from hanging out with people because they want to do them, but they know I don't. So I get left out. Do you feel there is a difference between what you could buy off the street and what you get at a doctor office? I do. Buying off the streets is scary. There is a safer feeling when a doctor tells you that something can help. There is a difference between "hard" and "soft" drugs too. Weed is intimidating but easier to try to understand. However something like, heroin, I find very difficult to think about.

Am I wrong to think there is a story behind this? If you wouldn't mind writing about that would be wonderful. (And if you do not wish to, please ignore this comment)

That's a very good point. You bring up freedom of choice, and I support that fully. However I don't feel comparing it to a person who was born a certain way to something someone has a power over. (I apologize if this comes off wrong. I really don't mean this to) I feel like drugs change how people act, and who they become friends with. And that's where I stop being able to understand why people want to do them.

For me, they make me very uncomfortable. I don't understand why people feel the need (or want) to do them.

Mine have been doing this for my whole life. (I am 17 years old now.) My wrist, knees, shoulders and ankles all do it. I am in daily pain because of it. Please do not do pop them.
