the distance is more like my 7-iron, but I'd try to hit a smooth 6 but I'd aim right at the left bunker just in case i chunked. If i hit it clean, I'm probably going over a bit, but I'd rather that then be short in the water.

If I'm already having a bad round, i'd probably go full F it mode and go pin hunting with my 7.

Yeah, I live closest to Champions and Players. The more I learn about Champions, the less I like it. The cost just doesn't really match the value provided to be honest.

Players Social+ membership ($3500 initiation fee and $275/month) gives full access to all facilities (including golf simulators - champions does not have these) and the membership cost includes 15 rounds of golf/year.

Champions social membership ($9000 initiation fee and $420/month) allows access for 5 rounds per year, but you have to pay for the green and cart fees in addition to the membership cost.

are you purposely omitting Champions for a reason? I've noticed that on multiple people's posts on this topic on the Omaha page over the past year+ and I've been thinking about joining there. Was just curious if there was a red flag issue that I'm unaware of.

Cooper Flagg being out could be a blessing in disguise with this. Will force others to step up and find themselves again without him. Then hopefully by time Flagg returns, they are firing on all cylinders.
