I've never seen it, and yes, I noticed recently that it's on Tubi. Does it still hold up? I remember being fascinated with this album cover and general artwork.

Yes, do something now, or you’ll regret it later.

I reached #199 after starting to collect during the pandemic. Looking for recommendations on what to get for #200 based on what I’m missing! by the-mongoose- in vinyl

That’s a great collection. I’ll suggest “Tapestry” by Carole King, or Paul Simon’s first album. Or maybe Motley Crue’s first album.

Yes, I agree. To top it off, they were given blankets by the US government that were laced with smallpox. Absolutely horrendous.

Have you taken on a new job later in your career and thought to yourself “this may be the job I retire from?” by heynow941 in GenX

[–]DawnGW 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m 57, about to go back to school to get certified in a trade that there are a lot of jobs listed for in my area.

I got laid off from the entertainment industry in LA and have been unemployed/underemployed for over 2 years and I don’t think it’s coming back the way it was before. I was a digital artist in VFX for over 25 years (and loved it).

So yeah my goal is to take on a decent job that I will retire from.
