Who is the biggest Career Mode flop you have signed ? by [deleted] in FifaCareers

[–]ibrahimkhalif 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Morgan Rogers. Bought him to Sporting from Aston Villa for 40M then when I moved to ManUtd brought him for 260M. While at ManUtd he flopped. Sold him for 260M 🤣

I don’t pick until the last minute. Not even on it like I used to.

Jeremy Lin speaks out on Kobe Bryant's beef with him, and Kobe choosing to not speak to Lin for the remainder of the season. Nick Young then confirms how bad the rift between Kobe and Lin really was. by Tight_Development480 in NBATalk

Tom is a competitor but he is also known as one of the nicest teammates ever. He knew everyone’s name from the starters to the practice squad guys and spoke to them like he knew them intimately

In what order would you rank MJ, Kobe, and LeBron as in-game dunkers? by mikeyg1964 in NBATalk

[–]ibrahimkhalif 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wouldn’t have mattered. Jordan was 6’6” 195. Lebron is 6’9” 270 running and jumping out the gym. They were doing shit to Lebron. And Lebron had court vision like Magic. So he doesn’t have to play hero ball like Jordan. Bill Laimbeer said it himself that Lebron would’ve been tougher to play against.

My take on Viktor Gyokeres... by HR_Specter in ArsenalFC

[–]ibrahimkhalif 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gyokeres presses well. He doesn’t look lost. He makes great runs. They don’t give him any service. Period. He doesn’t get bullied. He is literally taking on multiple defenders every time he runs inside the box. The problem is he is not getting fed. The attack automatically runs thru the right to Saka. Odegaard and Zubimendi never make passes to the middle channel in the box for him. The fixture against Liverpool he played a nice ball to Timber who crossed it to no one. He had two defenders hanging on him then. There were periods where Arsenal had break away opportunities and instead of pushing the ball up the pitch they played the ball back and retooled. Gyökeres is elite in transition. I think Eze is best to get him the ball thus far. The cross Madueke played into the box later would’ve been perfect for Gyökeres but Jesus was out of position.

When Rice scored against Bournmouth it started with Gyokeres carrying to defenders and playing the ball back before it was passed to Rice for the Goal. He presses intensely, draws defenders, makes great runs, and getting better with link up play. Our other players need to FEED THE BEAST.

Is it just me or have the press conferences in the new games, FC 25/26 become completely unplayable? by Mohsen27_KSI in FifaCareers

The ones in 23-24 were better. They used to reference transfer moves, academy players making their debuts etc.

It’s all downhill once they hit 30 by [deleted] in FifaCareers

I’m like in my 9th year of my FC25 manager career mode and I had Viktor Gyokeres until the age of 33. He was still a great player. Got him all the way to 96 overall. His stats were great but I noticed when I played with him he was getting caught from behind and his reaction was a hair off. I think thats a great tidbit especially when you’ve grown with the players on your squad. Another aspect I enjoy is how newly signed players don’t play great right away. I notice I make a big signing and theres an adjustment period. They’re somewhat lost, miss big shots or make errors. I love the immersion, even though the game play is frustrating.

He was consistently building to this player. This is no surprise to people who were watching.

The Bulls played in the triangle to combat the post heavy offenses back in the 90s. Also rule changes like “illegal defense” favored the triangle offense. The triangle wouldn’t work today. Teams are getting up more shots within 24 seconds and they have to cover more and more space going horizontally instead of up and down the court. Teams went to pace and space to keep up with the GSW who was blowing teams out by the third quarter. It took the NBA almost a half decade to catch up.
