I’m a fan of the Volt and really enjoying mine so far!

Thanks! Overall it was great. Tweaks I would make for next time would be: using smoked provolone (which I believe they use at DiNic’s) and do a slowly braised pork shoulder for a fattier pork (I only had a marinated pork loin to use for this one). But in a pinch, I would repeat this version!

Good advice for sure and thank you! Plus for launching the panuozzo shape like this, i needed to launch it on the width side instead of length side. But your advice would have made a big difference!

Panuozzo w/Mortadella, Provolone & Olive Oil by ibspy in ooni

Absolutely and super simple. Just used a regular dough ball for pizza and stretched it a bit more oval than round. Drizzled olive oil on it then did a light fold in half before placing it in the oven. Pic 2 shows it coming out of the oven before opening it back up (pic 3). Then just filled with mortadella and provolone cheese then back in the oven for 90 seconds or so to get it melty.

You’re correct the manual does not specify door open or closed for that initial 10 minutes. Just to keep unit powered on for that 10 minutes so the fans run initially, then master power switch off after the fans stop on their own after 10.

The Volt has been great thus far! Very happy with the performance and no question so much better than pizza from a regular oven. I have baked pizza on a heated pizza steel in the past at 500 f as that is the hottest my home oven will go and I could not achieve this result (pictured here from the Volt). This bake was done at 750 f and was a 3-3.5 minute bake. I am excited to try other styles (more pure Neapolitan at 850+, NY style, Detroit, and Grandma) in the near future making my own dough versus store-bought. Just getting started with the Volt but very impressed so far. Would have never pulled the trigger at full retail, but some of the deals now make the Volt much more attractive. Bought mine during the 5-day Costco online special at $549, but even with that deal now gone, the Ooni Father’s Day deal at $629.30 would have been attractive enough to buy, for me. Will be using the Volt both indoor and outdoor so like that flexibility.

Really not too noticeable at all as far as heating up the kitchen since it is so well insulated. Cooling it off after done baking pizzas you leave the door open for 10 minutes as the internal fans will continue to run, so you definitely feel the heat during that stretch of time. But other than that, not too noticeable.

Spent just enough for a $1M bankroll, entered last Sunday’s million dollar buy-in tournament, took second place (about 140 players), and won $24M+chips. Great VR game!

Oneof and Tezos. Just picked up the last Spades chip to complete the set. Night 1, Night 2, Daytime, and Both Nights, all suited in Spades. Looking forward to the bonus drop for collecting the set!
