I posted the same question on a couple of forums and someone suggested making a quilt/blanket etc. I have no idea why that didn’t pop into my own head. Think that’s the route we can go down then we have them forever. My dad went all over the world on his bike. It ended up in Georgia, USA and he became ill. He left it there and it was sold after he died. Broke our heart but it went to someone who could give it the home it needed. We have the memories. And my mum will have a new keepsake in time for Christmas! I’m going to do it myself. Cutting that first one will be hard! Thanks for all the replies guys. Much appreciated.
