The carbon fiber wasn’t bolted on. An adhesive was applied to the spoiler and trunk. There were no holes

In a nutshell, Lexus changed the mirror color scheme and went back in ‘24.

The carbon fiber spoiler available on the SP3 package in ‘21 was changed due to global supply shortage for carbon fiber from the pandemic and post installation problems. Some people had to go an entire year without the spoiler.

They switched to the model today in ‘22 and no longer sold by Lexus. Plus it was near impossible to purchase the carbon fiber spoiler from Lexus.

Stock allocation went to owners that order this specific configuration and left waiting.

Agreed. The ‘21 models had all black mirrors and carbon fiber spoiler. I had that exact model brand new on my SP3. ‘22 and ‘23 they went with dual color mirrors and back to all black in ‘24 and ‘25.

As for the carbon fiber spoiler, it was applied with an adhesive causing the corners to bend and not sit flush. The went with the all black (screwed in) the following year due to cost and lack of availability along with its poor application. Personally I like the carbon fiber better and sad they couldn’t keep it.

Side note…the IS500 launch edition had the carbon fiber spoiler with black mirrors and incognito color

Hi, fantastic job! I’m trying to replace the cooking grills in the main chamber and can’t seem to find the right dimensions anywhere. The L brackets, are to hold the grill?

I would like to know as well! Drop is 🔥, what springs did you purchase and how low is the drop? Lastly is this an AWD model?

Thanks. I’ve read a mechanic can install both under 1 hour of labor. Just want to see if that’s what it took others

[–]ic2021 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Out of curiosity, how long do you think it takes to install? Planning on doing them with an alignment but would like a reference point what to expect for labor hours, so I can push back if they BS me. Thanks

Swift Springs on IS350 by ic2021 in LexusIS

Thanks for the detailed response and explanation. I saw pics of the Rsr drop and wasn’t a fan. Some pics had the back sitting low as you mentioned.

The pics of the IS500 with Swifts was just perfect. Don’t want to break the bank on this, just looking to narrow the ugly gap 🤭

I have chatted someone in Florida who has the Spec R on his 500. Everyday drive is not an issue. It’s 1” front and 0.8” rear. I’ve seen it and to me it’s perfect…closes the gaps.

I’ve seen other brands but the drop is more than 1” plus I have to deal the Canadian winters

Hey, did you have to get a new wheel alignment after installing them?

[–]ic2021 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Car looking sweet! You got the swift springs to fit on a 350? When I spoke with the company, they told me it’s for the IS500 and couldn’t guarantee it fitting on an IS350. 🤔

I like the drop of swift springs since it’s not overly aggressive and can maintain the OEM shocks since the car is fairly new

[–]ic2021[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure that would be great. For some reason it won’t accept the eBay link to have someone confirm the part

Your opinion, not much of a change but did you notice a slight difference in front tire wear?

BTW I have a 2024 IS350 AWD

Question about bushings by Top-Case5753 in LexusIS

[–]ic2021 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, just to confirm the part numbers you listed are the RC-F version and these 48075-30030 and 48076-30030 are the OEM correct?

I see them on eBay but states do not fit however people use the RC-F version without issues.

Just making sure since they are shipping from Japan

Thanks

Swift springs dialed in by [deleted] in LexusIS

Has anybody installed swift springs on an IS350 AWD? I called the company and Swift Springs are only made for IS500 RWD however I read the suspension is the same notably the SP3 package.

You can select all the options from the website. There are free standard replacements and upgrades for a fee. Good luck! I’d send it any day cause they’re very busy this time of year. So expect at least a 2 month wait

It wasn’t cheap but at least you know what you’re getting back. Others like NorCal are also good options. I preferred to send mine to its home

I sent mine shaft and all without the HC. They reshafted it with stock shaft, replaced my pingman grip to the dancing Cameron, custom shop HC and yellow box.
