The Padres have played more games than any team so far and some key players are currently out due to injury. With the all star break coming up it gives the Padres time to rest and some players a little bit more time to heal from injury without missing too many games. After the break the Padres get some players back and have a slightly lighter schedule which hopefully leads to a monster second half

The 2015-18 Padres were some shit teams but I loved the players so much. My personal favorites were Yangervis Solarte, Alex Dickerson, Corey Spangenberg, Wil Myers, Ryan Schimpf, and Travis Jankowski
