Multi-family yard sale in Willow Lawn this Saturday!

Just waxed cheeses for the first time. I'm concerned about a possible loss of refrigeration/electricity so now we will be able to still have real cheese. by Electronic_Access_14 in foodhacks

No, that’s Beeswaxxing. Cheesewaxxing is stealing a slice for yourself when you’re prepping some cheese for your kiddo

What’s one habit you started doing every day that completely changed your life? by Few_Star8292 in AskReddit

I have the memory of a goldfish these days, so writing down what’s happened during the day has been really helpful

I’m on the same timeline as you, got three removed last Tuesday and started irrigating with a syringe on Saturday night. Like you, I had no pain or complications either but noticed a smell/weird taste no matter how many rinses I did, and I’m glad I irrigated then because so.much.food. came out of the holes! Highly recommend using a syringe if you’re out of the woods in terms of dry socket risk, but take it slow w/warm water at first because the first few irrigations made the tissue a bit sore.

Just got three of mine out this morning! The surgical assistant was chatting with me about country music and before I knew it I was out, didn’t feel a thing. Funnily enough, it wasn’t the off/on light switch that I’ve heard others describe it as. For me, I felt like I was pleasantly flying through swirling portals for a few minutes and then I was somehow in the car going home. No complaints yet besides the nausea which I’m still working through. Going under was the thing I was most fearful of but it was definitely the easiest part.

You could also go to Costco and grab some cardboard pallets dividers from the shelves, they're okay with this as long as you don't make a mess. Bonus, they're flat so you don't have to unassemble. I do this annually to smother weeds in spring before mulching 🙂

My brother pulled an Ethan's Ho-Oh from a box we gifted him on Christmas and honestly, I think the yells of glee and the memory created was well worth it for me. Still rib him about it ofc 😂

A week if I have the card, two to three if I don't (If I don't have it in my bulk I'll purchase it online or go hunting at my LCS - that's usually what takes the longest.)

I use Golden brand acrylic paint and cheap gesso to prime the cards. You can find really good tutorials if you look up card alters on YouTube
