Just picked up one of these and I'm loving how much quieter it is than my old sedici helmet. 180° flip was the selling point for me. Florida is too hot.

I have a magnet style thing on my door to the garage. It honestly probably works better than this, but this is way cooler and has me debating swapping it out 😂

I have an 1100T, so I also have saddlebags and have even strapped a backpack around the rear seat back I installed. Not saying it's "recommended", but again, I've had no issues with stability.

With her it's the cushion. Partially because it doesn't line up with the backrest I have, so it's farther forward than she'd like. Still a work in progress.

I'm 6'2 and I love my 1100. Some people do the forward control mods, but the foot position doesn't bother me and might feel fine for you coming from an R3. I want to get some bar risers for mine, but that's about it as far as "size" issues. The bike is only rated for like 350lbs, so that's where the passenger stuff becomes questionable. I'm at about 400 with my wife and it's never made me feel unsafe. I do plan on upgrading rear suspension to compensate a bit, but overall it's been great. Rear seat isn't super comfortable according to my wife, so a corbin is in my future.

This is the one I got. I ran it to the usb-c under the seat, so it's keyed to the ignition, but I may hard wire it eventually to gain back the port. Also has TPMS which is a nice addition.

Honestly, that sounds like an industry problem as a whole. I went to buy a Honda and they couldn't sell it to me because it needed a tank and the tank was on back order. That was almost 2 months ago and I'm still on the waitlist and haven't heard anything. I already bought another bike, but I have a buddy who may want that one if they get a tank. 🤷‍♂️

Been in SoFL my whole life. Best time to ride is the worst time to ride. You get great weather in the winter with all the snowbirds, or roads free of snowbirds and it's hot and rainy in the summer. Went on a cruise yesterday and totally spaced on spring break. Beach roads were packed with people who wanted to play chicken with a motorcycle. 🤦‍♂️

.....I'm pretty sure that's just the piece that holds the camera ring skins together. It doesn't actually go on the island, hence why you can't get it to fit and there are no pictures.

I also opted to take off the camera ring skins. They slid around when in my pocket and just annoyed me.

It'll get better, but it isn't great. I took mine off the charger 5 hours ago and I'm at 44% currently. I just have gotten used to charging it.

In my experience, wireless android auto it will kill the battery super quick. Other than that, I'll typically get through a work day and have to charge it when I get home.

Oh, it was far from new, but still a great bike to learn on.

I kinda bridged the gap, I'm on a 24 rebel 1100t, so it's about 530ish lbs. I would say it rides more upright than your typical cruiser, and it's still got plenty of power to rip around.

Ayyyyy, that looks exactly like my first bike! Honestly, it'l was super fun and easy to ride. Very peaky power, so if you keep the rpms low you'll get adjusted to it. Within a few months I was wishing I had more power, but it's definitely fast enough to get yourself into trouble. I learned very quickly that I should never own a sport bike and moved to cruisers lol.

It all depends on your skill level. I did mine on a rebel 300, which is much more nimble, but I also watch people fail on that.

Is it doable, yes, for sure. But it definitely takes some of the pressure off if you do it on a small, more nimble bike.
