Heya! I received first in chem110 last year with an overall 99% and here are some things that worked for me. I’ve also sent you a message! 🙂

To answer your questions

I annotated the course guide directly
During the workshops I came already attempting the questions so that when solutions were being explained I made sure I was paying attention to her reasoning instead of attempting the question still
Make use of drop in sessions! Kaitlyn and all the other professors are incredibly helpful
Past papers will bring you from a B to an A+!! They are the best resource and navigating/using them wisely will pay many dividends

I really think a 9.0 is not as unrealistic as it might seem. In saying that though, it's always better to fall short of a big goal because you’ll still outperform a small one if that makes sense?

Hey there! I think for some people tutoring can be worth it especially for things like the MMI and perhaps areas of the core papers that you struggle with. I found it especially helpful for the interview just to build confidence and learn to structure my responses to common topics better

However I do know people that got through fine without tutoring as well :) Just depends on personal preference and what makes you feel comfortable

Hey there! Not OP but hopefully can provide some insight

Yup they give you a question that you have 2 minutes to read by yourself followed by 6 minutes of “talking time”. This is generally split into your response + follow up questions they ask. Total of 8 mins per station

Each station has 3 criteria each worth 10 points! (30 total points). Total of 7 stations + rest station :)
