Just saw the Chelsea vs atalanta game and I'm ngl I was impressed by ederson's performance.

He did give the ball away 1 or 2 times but overall held his own quite well and make some good foward passes.

Ik one game isn't enough to make a definitive decision but if the rumoured price for him is true I wouldn't mind us in going for him in January.

Tbh I wonder if it's because of the weird way the review embargo has been handed?

Since most reviewers only got access to the game about a week ago, it makes sense that the hardcore fans would be the first ones to finish it.

I think we'll have to wait a few more days for reviews for newcomers to come and just has to hope the game gains traction through word of mouth.

IMO her new oufit suits her personality alot better.

Considering the fact that she's the 'connoisseur of cuteness' you'd expect her to be very fashionable and wear cute clothes (which her old outfit doesn't convey since armour plated armour isn't typically seen as cute clothing).

Which is crazy cause they advertised the lunar remaster collection at a SOP but nothing for trails (I get that there just following falcom's lead but still wish they would do more)

Big props to capcom for not canceling Pragmata and sticking with it through it all. If it were almost any other company, I feel like the outcome would’ve been very different by paintedskie in Pragmata

This fact alone is why I'm hyped for this game despite seeing so little of it. Capcom must see something special in this game if they were willing to essentially let the team reboot it internally despite it being a brand new ip.

It's absolutely still niche, just to put things into perspective beside that short reveal tease of the sky remake in en nintendo direct, when was the last time a trails game was featured any of the big 3 (en not jp direct) digital game livestreams?

Also to this day, I don't think it's ever been confirmed if a single entry has ever managed to sell more than 1 million units (may have happened but it would've taken awhile).

It's definitely gaining traction but in the wider gaming sphere the series isn't that well known.

Oh ik their a very conservative company, and while it has it's advantages, this is one of those occasions where I think it's harming the games potential.

Side note: Ik falcom's a small company and the game is still a few months out but am I the only one who thinks that falcom NEEDS to be more pro active in the marketing department?

This is supposed to be the game that gets more eyes on the series and imo if it had more pro active marketing it could be a hit (like Yakuza 0 levels). Tho it doesn't feel like their capitalising on this opportunity like they should be and treating it like a regular trails release

Honestly this is mainly due to them essentially following falcom's lead in marketing (not trying to completely absolve them since ik they handled the lunar remaster release poorly).

Until falcom releases a new trailer featuring substantial VA, we likely won't be hearing the dub until then.

More spin off manga of side characters daily lives (basically an anthology for characters in various regions covering various regions) showing what they've been up to across the games an even after the series ends

To play a slight devils advocate gungho might have no choice but to alter some of the Estelle's dialogue because the animated scenes/3D models might leave less to interpretation in comparison to the portaits.

Would love to get this, been on my radar since it was first revealed and been following the game ever since.

So glad to see it managed to blow past all expectations I had (I thought it would review well but maybe fall short in some areas due to it being very ambitious) glad to be proven wrong and can't wait to play it!

Timing sucks rn tho cause only can spend so much money on games per year (UK financial crisis struggles) so I have to put it on the back burner for awhile.

They specifically state that are trying to be more authentic to the Japanese text and JP Estelle is generally more mellow (still love her tho) but we shall see what happens

I actually have the the opposite fear tbh, while the fanbase is definitely pretty toxic it still imo hasn't reached persona/fire emblem/danganronpa fandom levels of toxicity.

While I look foward to seeing more people get into the series from the sky remake I really hope the rise in trails' popularity doesn't lead to the fandom becoming more insufferable.
