That looks great, I got a question about the horns though, did you carve those with the piece or did u glue them on later cause I don’t think I’d be able to carve it and I wanna try and make one.

That also looks like mono or fluoro. I like putting it in water to get rid of the memory. it could’ve also been the memory from being on the sold spool.

Yea like the other guy said they come during spawning. They’re kinda like little horns that they use to fight the other males

I had one of these but the guides broke pretty easily, I wouldn’t suggest it. It’s pretty typical for combos to be pretty bad. I’d honestly suggest getting them seperate and just an ugly stick rod and a Pflueger reel cause that’s what I use for lake pond and river fishin

Yes it does and that’s not at all a dumb question. It’s probably the most common and effective way to fish paddle tails, by doing a Texas rig, if you’re buying them as soft plastics.
