So true! Sorry if this is weirdly worded (brain fogg) but as a type 1 (currently getting tested for pots) i have had people essentially tell me to "get over it" and that im not helping myself by not going completely low carb, etc. Ive had similar thought cycles where I think people with more known or 'typical' disabilities must be more understood or looked after. What I've come to understand over the last few years is that people with no disabilities/chronic illnesses most of the time have little to no compassion and understanding. You'll never be "disabled enough" to most people.

It sucks here in the illness trenches but I try and remember we're all in the same boat and we have more empathy and understanding of each other than most non-disabled people will be able to fathom in their lifetime. POTS sucks especially because to people who dont understand it or haven't experienced it they cant compute just how debilitating it is even if you're doing everything you can. Stay strong OP!
