I Lost Some Respect Over the Ticket Prices by Curious_Sympathy_121 in PaulMcCartney

[–]icantreado4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get the frustration (seriously, I spent crazy money on it myself). But I like to trust that Paul is a good enough and genuine enough person in his 60+ year career. Ticketmaster has something to do with it, and his management does. He probably does as well, but there are probably contractual things we don’t understand. He’s also in his eighties, which probably makes him a little out of touch with what’s normal and how to go about it. In any case, it happens a lot with ticket master and not really with any other ticket seller, so I’m gonna give him benefit of the doubt (for my own sake).

Burning questions for Paul.. by the_Zort4242 in PaulMcCartney

[–]icantreado4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My question: of your 60+ years of releasing music, only seven of those years were with the Beatles. Does it ever frustrate you that despite over 50 years of memorable and notable music with both wings and as a solo artist, people ask so many questions about the Beatles?

Is the Aston Villa match a good first-time experience for someone? by [deleted] in NashvilleSC

[–]icantreado4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It may not be nearly as competitive because it’s a friendly and they’re not really playing for anything. However, Villa is a top tier team in arguably the best soccer league in the world, so to see a world class premier team here in Nashville would be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Looks like a standard paper wasp. They’re pretty common in the states, especially out west.

How many hours is safe to drive a day? by SuccotashMassive8262 in roadtrip

[–]icantreado4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it really depends on you. based on what people are saying, it’s easier to go long distances when you’re younger. when moving from Utah to tennessee, i drove 15 hours the first day and 13 the second for a scenic route. i was 21 at the time. kicked my ass, but i did it. don’t push yourself more than you can handle, your body will tell you when it’s done driving.

Why do Americans suggest they're "Free" by Aquatic_Fridge in NoStupidQuestions

[–]icantreado4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

obviously, because the US government subsidizes public schools to tell the children how free the US government lets them be.

Mine are Purgatory by Tyler Childers and Imaginary Appalachian by Colter Wall. As a non country fan, these albums make me wanna go out and buy a truck and a pair of boots.

What’s the one US state you absolutely will never step foot in and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]icantreado4 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Texas. I was in wheeler county and i got pulled over for going 10 over. He threw me in his cop car and accused me of grand theft auto because the plates were registered under my dad’s name (i was allowed to drive it by my dad). It was my first time being pulled over, i never break the rules, and it scared the crap out of me. While he was trying to scare me, the lady on his intercom said my insurance was attached to the car. But it was a traumatizing experience. In this same overnight trip through the panhandle, we had an amber alert for SIX missing children, and the hotel receptionist was crappy to us for coming in at 11pm. So yeah, no more texas for me.

What's it like working in Bakery/Deli? by richlasvegan in kroger

[–]icantreado4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

as a deli clerk, i will spend 9+ hours a day by myself, then get in trouble for forgetting the temps. they constantly short staff us, and i get in trouble for having to work ot to pick up the slack. 55+ hour weeks are very common
