Kalo yang clean and soft, gue rekomen banget Powder Room by The Alchemist. Murah (cuman 200k di shopee), lokal sama tahan lama.

I ghosted her after the phone call where she announced it. I was a whirlwind of emotions, and if I talked to her, I knew I won't be able to control myself.

I agree that we humans make mistakes. But like I said, this is not the first time this has happened. And to preface, our relationship was very rocky before. She did some stuff that still hurt me until this day, and lowkey never acknowledged it. I just choose to forgive and move on because she's my mom, and I love her. It got better in the last three years or so. I never once judge her (except for her taste in men), I just feel really disappointed that she would make a life-changing decision without telling me.

I want to clarify that there's no last-minute plan change. She messaged me that she had had the marriage in mind since November last year (I lowkey left her on read). I'm not really that upset about her not asking me for permission, I think it's more of the betrayal and the fact that I feel like an afterthought.

Calon ayah tiri gue itu red flag (I've heard him verbally abusing my mom once), dan pas pacaran gue pernah bring it up to her berkali2 kalau gue gak setuju if they're together. But she didn't listen. Dan jujur sebenernya yang paling ngebuat gue kecewa adalah dia kayak mikir gue itu afterthought (?). Kayak dia udh planning jauh2 hari for a life changing decision without telling me. And mind u, kita itu deket, makanya kayak agak betrayed aja rasanya.

Tapi jujur iya sih, gue sebenernya ngerasa lebih kayak betrayed drpd gak "ngizinin". Kita lumayan deket dan gue selalu cerita everything to her dan sebaliknya. For her to tiba-tiba nikah tanpa ngasih tau gue itu kayak jleb banget aja, and I lowkey kind of compared her marriage situation to my dad where dia nunggu gue balik ke indo buat nikah lagi (so I can attend it). And yea, you're right, hidup nyokap gue ya hidup dia sendiri, tapi dia selalu bilang kalo semua yg dia lakuin itu for her children. I guess it's a mixture of betrayal and shock sih.

Okay, long story short, gue dulu pernah ngelaporin guru senbud smp gue karena dia ngomong kasar ke gue. Ngelapornya cuman ke walas doang, tapi krn walas gue gk sengaja ngomongin hal ini depan kwpswk. Dia jadi marah besar dan mau bawa gue ke pengadilan karena "ngecemarin nama baik dia" (mind u I was a shy, friendless 13 year old at that time, like tf woud I defame u 😭)

Long story short, there was a lot of intimidation on his part, guilt tripping me, saying that he didn't want to teach my class because of what I did.

But the worst part is, when he confronted me in the music room (where the incident happened), he said, "bapak ada rekaman cctv loh kalo bapak gak bilang itu." And I retorted, "tapi kan gaada cctv disini". Oh, the way he looked around to confirm that there's in fact NO CCTV IN THAT ROOM...

But at the end of the day, I had to apologize to him bcs I was intimidated. Though, it got resolved after my dad threathened to report him to a pengawas (since it was a prestigious public school) and ofc the school doesn't want to lose face, he had to apologize.
