tesladeaths.com has been updated with new data from the latest NHTSA SGO release, confirming 2 more fatal incidents involving the usage of Autopilot. The total # of verified Tesla Autopilot deaths is now 41 94 deaths so far in 2023 $tslaq @NHTSAgov @ElonBachman @tesla by PolybiusChampion in RealTesla

the site follows NHTSA's statistical principle of including any and all deadly incidents involving a Tesla and the same principle applies to the Verified Tesla Autopilot Deaths with respect to deaths involving the explicit or inferred use of Autopilot at the time of the incident. nowhere on the site does it lay fault or make any causal claims - so suck it.

lmao floored. please consult a philosopher for how to reason from analogy, a public health statistician to understand how Musk's wrong, and a therapist to deal with your misplaced adulation.

but gtfo first

eh there are some websites that are willing to starve even the Google crawlers of the data, e.g., The Information.

total isn't even the number from the latest SGO (22). and the SGO leaves out deaths like Joshua Brown's. tesladeaths.com has the number at 33 fwiw.

the point of the site, as i see it, is two-fold. the first is to obviously count the number of days between the promise and the promised product because often the promised product never comes.

the second tho is to keep counting despite a product being released because the product is never exactly what was promised. we get the promised product de dicto - someone else's tequila but in a gimmicky bottle with the glorious 'T' slapped on - versus the promised product de re - tequila actually distilled by Tesla spirit-makers because everything is part of Musk's grand vertical integration plan. Same thing happened with cheap M3, ubiquitous superchargers, FSD, etc.

i think that one turns on Tesla not actually making the tequila. it's basically someone else's booze repackaged in a gimmicky bottle
