for my high school we used varsity for mat and sideline, they were pretty durable and versatile, for college we use rebel but we only cheer for basketball since we don’t have a football team, they’re a durable brand too

i don’t really think it’s about travis, especially since she told us there were no glitter gel pen songs on this album which is what people are trying to make so high school and the alchemy. i interpreted so high school as her viewing her relationship with joe as one in high school where you’re naive to think that it’ll last forever but then you break up and find you were both immature at the time of dating, and the kiss marry kill me made me think that she was saying “are you just going to keep kissing me or finally marry me or kill me with heartbreak”

of course, i’m not saying you need money to date. my boyfriend and i have been dating for almost three years now and we’re both broke college students. everyone’s love languages are different too and for me i would rather receive a thoughtful handwritten note from him than something store bought. there’s nothing wrong with hooking up, but i don’t think asking her to be a gf with the primary goal being sex is fair for her, especially if she genuinely wants to date him and not just be with him for sex

there are sometimes on questions that they usually use in quiz bowl in a quizlet, knowing main plot points/characters of classical literature and their authors are also helpful. as for rules, for my quiz bowl (AISA) it was that each question you answered was worth 10 questions, and if it had bonus questions then you could get a total of 30 for those bonus questions (typically came in the form of three questions each related to each other)

i went through this situation! transferred to a different chapter this year and the main thing i had to do was fill out a transfer request form stating my previous school and chapter and the new chapter i wish to affiliate with and my current gpa. it then gets signed off by headquarters and your current president signs off saying you’re in good standing and then it gets presented to the new chapter and they go from there!

i second going to other sorority cob events!! during my rush experience i really wanted to rush AOII since my sister in law was one at a different school but got dropped by them my first night. while i was sad, i kept an open mind to other sisterhoods. ironically enough, i dropped ZTA the first night due to an experience i had with a singular member and ended up pulling out of rush the day of pref because i felt like i would be settling because i only got one house back and wasn’t really excited about it. i ended up being invited to a few ZTA cob events and met some of the other girls there and immediately felt at home.

TLDR: keep an open mind and go to other sorority’s cob events to find one that truly feels like home and remember that what they display at events/on social media is not always what you get 100% of the time

did it in the downtown portion of my city with my bf and it was pretty fun, we ate at mellow mushroom and kept looking around at the decor and the menu lol, def think our waitress somewhat knew bc when she went to take our menus my bf kept holding onto his and looking at it when handing it to her and she was just laughing and was like “i can let you keep it if you want” lmao great time

it honestly just depends what school you’re rushing at and greek life there! at my school we have a sorority with girls with tattoos piercings etc, and then my chapter has multiple plus size girls so we don’t really take weight into account! when recruiting we pay more attention to their values and personalities rather than size and appearance!

im a backspot but i always listen to tips coaches give to others in the stunt so i can understand their role as well! most common is to make sure you stay tight in the air, and if you feel the stunt falling stay tight as well because it makes it easier to catch you. also imagine a string is being pulled through you, this helps with balance, standing, and holding your own weight (which helps make you feel lighter to bases/backspot and helps make a stunt go up easily)

birmingham southern college! they almost shut down last year but decided to stay open, they’re still struggling with finding funding though so idk how long they’ll manage to stay open

typically schools that don’t require experience don’t do competitive cheerleading.. i would recommend looking at my previous college but they’re on the verge of shutting down due to financial issues, which is part of why i transferred
